Happy New Year! Praise God for 2011, which is a fresh start to even more opportunities to be used of God. I can't help but laugh when I arrived at the gym this month and couldn't find a parking spot. It seems this happens year after year that people make those new year goals that just don't last. By Feb. 1st the parking spots will open up again and life will be back to normal. All I want for Christmas is a closer walk with Christ. "Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith" (Hebrews 10:22). Christmas time can be so busy. Sitting at the dinner table last night I asked my three kids to tell my what Christmas is about. My youngest son Tobin, who is four said, "Dad you're silly...don't you know Christmas is all about Jesus?"
