God moved powerfully in Pakistan! This outreach marked our fourth year in a row serving in this beautiful nation, and it was incredible to see how the churches came together in unity like never before.
Over 45,000 people heard the Good News and 8,700 made a decision to say “yes” to Jesus! Everywhere we went, we shared the message of Jesus, proclaiming that people can go from death to life, from lonely to connected, and from guilty to forgiven, all through faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone.
Love Sheikhupura Prayer Festival
What an amazing move of God!
To make the festival possible, the team in Pakistan rented land from seven local farmers, paying them to harvest their crops early so the grounds could be prepared. With no access to electrical power, they brought in multiple generators and all the necessary equipment to make it happen. Thousands came to hear the Gospel, and many, including Muslims, put their faith and trust in Jesus.
The presence of God was strong, and we witnessed several miraculous healings throughout the event. During the festival, Reid boldly shared the Gospel and prayed for the sick, believing that God would heal them. At the same time, our prayer team in the U.S. was praying for a woman with a tumor. In an incredible display of God’s power, she was healed! The woman came forward on stage to testify that her tumor had miraculously disappeared. The very next day, her doctor confirmed—there was no trace of it left. Truly, the Lord heals and does mighty things!
Incredibly, the festival was even featured on a national government-owned TV station. Only God could open doors like that! Now, every person who made a decision for Christ will be contacted and connected to a local church, because we believe we’re not just called to make decisions, but to make disciples.
We’re in awe of how God is using RSA. Everyone has a unique role in this mission, and we couldn’t do what we do without those who pray and give from home. Together, we are the body of Christ, with each part making an eternal impact.
Alpha Training Center
The Acts Center has sparked a powerful new vision in Pakistan. Inspired by its impact, our partner Pastor Asher is launching the Alpha Training Center, a place where pastors and evangelists will be trained and discipled. The center will also serve as a home base for partner evangelists when they come to minister in the region.
Pastor Asher is overjoyed to see how God is moving. Pakistan is now sending out its own missionaries to share the Gospel in neighboring countries!
We pray that this movement will continue to grow as it strengthens leaders, inspires evangelists, and spreads the message of God’s Kingdom around the world.
