In this remote and largely unreached region of the Philippines, the Gospel is beginning to take root in exciting new ways. The effort to reach the lost became a powerful unifying force, as the churches in Boracay came together with extraordinary unity, all driven by one purpose: to lift up the name of Jesus. Many volunteers eagerly followed up with new believers, helping lay a foundation for long-term impact. This wasn’t just the first major event on the island since COVID—it was likely the first city-wide outreach of its kind, and the impact is just beginning!
In the week leading up to the festival, our team spread out across the island, inviting locals to the event and holding street outreaches using basketball and BMX to draw people in. During one village outreach, our streetballer friend Bruce shared his powerful testimony. As he spoke, a homeless man approached—crippled and blind in one eye after being hit by a car, and often bullied and overlooked by others. Bruce welcomed him with compassion, hugged and talked with him, snapped a photo together, and shared the love of Jesus. It was a beautiful reminder that no one is unseen in God’s eyes.
We were blown away by the turnout at the Love Boracay Festival and moved by powerful testimonies from new believers. One woman brought four of her coworkers—and all of them gave their lives to Christ! Another young woman opened up about feeling exhausted from trying to keep up with others on social media, even to the point of wanting to give up. In a divine moment, the festival’s main singer—well-known throughout the Philippines—was able to share the hope of the Gospel with her. Throughout Boracay, lives are being changed, hope is being restored, and Jesus is being lifted high.

Last night was the kickoff of Love Fest Boracay, and wow…the Lord moved in such a powerful way! Glory to God!
Thanks to all the prayers and support of those back home, we’ve already proclaimed the Gospel through several street outreaches this week and witnessed many people place their faith in Christ. Your prayers make a difference. The unity among the local churches has been incredible; everyone is coming together for one purpose: to lift up Jesus.
Last night’s festival was held on the beach, and the turnout was amazing. Tonight is the last festival and we’re so excited for what’s still to come. Please keep praying! God is doing something special here. I will keep you updated.

The festival is tomorrow! This morning we did a prayer caravan around the island, asking God to bring many people to the festival this week. Our team of volunteers is ready to welcome many to the White Beach, where we will be holding the Love Fest Boracay.

We have had a busy week of street outreaches and events around Boracay, Philippines! We are reaching the people through BMX performances and fun basketball shows with our friend, Bruce Crevier. At each of these we invite everyone to Love Fest Boracay taking place on the White Beach Thursday and Friday!
