In August, our third cohort of emerging evangelists completed their year-long training in the Evangelist Equipping Program (EEP). We gathered for a Commissioning Ceremony to celebrate their journey and send them into their fields of ministry. We are so proud of these young men and how God has used this training to shape their ministries and equip them to reach the world for Christ.
Philip (Vietnam) expressed that through our training, he is able to share the Gospel clearly and faithfully, and prepare for the work of God in Vietnam. His desire is to preach the Gospel faithfully, teach the Bible correctly, and equip believers to become workers in the harvest. He is believing and praying for the revival of all Vietnam!
Pasquale (Italy) reflected on a journey of faith that has not always been easy, but through which the Lord has always been faithful. As a teenager, he prayed that God would use his gifts in illusion to help him share the Gospel. His time in the EEP has been an answer to that prayer. Together, Pasquale and his wife, Isa, are dreaming big for Italy. This summer, they launched their first evangelism festival with a vision to reach the entire nation over the next 10 years.
Nick (US) shared that one of his greatest takeaways from this year of training is that God is not finished with the evangelist. Though evangelism can sometimes feel like a lonely or overlooked calling, Nick is committed to being fruitful and faithful to the end, proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ and calling people unapologetically to faith and repentance until he comes.
All three of our graduates reflected on how their ministries have grown over the last year, how they’ve honed their skills in preaching the Gospel, and how they’ve developed the confidence to raise funds and support their organizations.
As we celebrate the accomplishments of these three graduates, we are also excited to welcome our newest EEP cohort who are beginning their 12 months of training: Garret Wells (US), Adam Grant (Scotland), and Eduard De Oleo (Colombia). We are thrilled to see how God will work through each of them in the year ahead.
We look forward to following their journeys and sharing more of those stories with you. Thank you for helping raise up the next generation of evangelists!
